In Memory Of.....

The following web was inspired by the death of my father, John William Miller, a Korean War Veteran who passed away due to Emphysema & Lung Cancer on February 11th, 2003. If you too have lost someone as dear to you as my father is to me and would like to submit something, anything, for the rest of us to see then just let me know. Whether it be a poem, pictures or just a few short memories that you will always cherish, I would be honored to post it on here.

Please remember that our loved ones are the ones that we give our 40 hour week of labor for. Every minute of every day we should take care of ourselves for them, not only for ourselves. This includes working safely, not just eating right and exercising. Doing things with them, not always working. Before you smoke that cigarette, drink that one last drink before driving, or to avoid the doctors' office for whatever reasons you keep telling yourself, please think of your family. Or even deciding not to lock out the equipment that you are working on only to save a few minutes at work.....Think of the following families who have lost their loved ones, who, like my father, probably could have been around a little bit longer if it wasn't not for some of the bad choices made during their lives.

On behalf of all officers of Local 387 I would like to give thanks to the people remembered on the following pages for their efforts to make our lives more pleasurable and worthwhile.....

...Don Miller
